Down the rabbit hole On Russian Hill
On a gorgeous Fall evening years ago, the family gathered at A Stones Throw, a lovely and popular restaurant on Russian Hill in San Francisco. The views were spectacular. The sun was going down, and you could see the world's most famous bridge, the city marching away westward into the sunset, and Golden Gate Park, with tiny little kites fluttering high in the sky.
Dinner was a delicious blur, full of laughter, drinking and eating with abandon, memories and celebration. We all gathered outside for a photographic memory of the event:

But then, just as we were getting ready to pack it in and head south to Campbell, We came upon a very curious curio shop:
